peruvian fronteras
I had the same problem with expired aduana papers in Peru. I ripped the North Shore of Titicaca after checking out of Peru in Puno AND checking into Bolivia at the Migraccion in La Paz and the Aduana in El Alto.
It worked great. |
Thank's AK-15, that sounds like the perfect way to leave Peru!
I just made it out of the country on time! Spareparts arrived after more than 3 weeks! :-) But it is good to know for the future! |

I left my bike in Lima in 2004 for a year and then returned for another trip. I Also had the leave the country on a borderpost with no computers. We chose the Inapari - Assis Brasil border with Brazil near Peurto Maldonado. We took the rough Urcos- Peurto Maldanodo track. Drove to the bordertown of Inapari, stored the bikes in a hotel. Stamped out our passports and at night took the bikes across the border river in a boat and into the brazilian brodertown of Assis Brazil. Then drove to Brasilea(Brazil) on the Brazil-Bolivia border to get a new entry stamp for the bikes. Another option is the northern route arond lake titicaca, i didn't see any bordercontrol there. Goodluck. |
