What months were you driving BR 319?
It looks like I will be going solo along the route if I take it. Is there very much other traffic or activity along the route? They are building the first bridge across the river in Manuas so that will be neat to cross the river without boat. Looks like you are having a great time. Maybe I will meet up with you two along the way. Adios Amigos

not a good idea to do the so called 'road' BR319 solo. it starts off OK and then just gets worse and worse. we were prepared but it still turned out worse than expected.....

Throttlemeister-advice is still the same regarding BR319....dont do it- especially if you are solo. Please at least do it with a group or landies.....if you are out there on your own and have problems - like falling off a bridge - or breaking something on your bike or yourself - you are going to have serious issues.

I will do the homework before I take off down the road would also like to travel with another overlander for safety, prefering the 4x4 or 6x6 kind. I'll boat if need be, current conditions are most valuable in the choice.

On another note, is there any way to get some close up pics of your crashbars that you made up for the six fidy to protect the 39L tank kit? Are you currently in the states? I'm trying to come up with a solution that works well for protection as well as lifting with a cable to transfer the bike to boats.

Hope your travels go better than the 319 episode.
