Venezuela Columbia
 

hello there i have a question myself!!!
is it possible to cross from columbia to venezuela?? or do they not like each other at all anymore???
also does anyone know if its difficult to get the bike on one of those amazon boats to get from ecuador or peru to brazil?? any expiriance???

from Columbia to Venezuela I don't know, but from ColOmbia to Venezuela no problem at all at both crossing points Maicao or Cucuta. Just crossed again last week. The usual requirements: title, passport, insurance. it is free both in Col and in Vz, takes about 20 minutes in Vz.

I was backpacking and crossed into Venezuala from Cucuta back in 97.
Before I got there it had a rep as a dangerous city.
My lasting impression of the town was sitting on a local bus coming into the city and being told by the whole bus of concerned locals that i was almost certainly guaranteed of getting robbed when I got to the central terminal!
I jumped off the bus, flagged a stopped taxi and took it straight to the airport.
BTW if you get into Venezuala do not miss Merida in the Mountains. A lovely laid back town, lots of Adventure stuff to do and an incredible ratio of lovely young columbian girls to the male population.
I stayed 2 weeks, hope it has not changed :-)
