Camping Mistakes
All travellers love natural places but why dont they think that it may be dangerous to camp in wild grounds and places very close to water supplies.
At nights all wild animals are there to drink water. When you meet a baby animal, you must be away from that place.Probably parents are somewhere there around this point. Also the fire in front of the colorful tents invites animals. Just back at the club after a visit to 3 riders who has done this mistake and have been attacked by wild pigs. Better ask local people, police,or gendarme for a safe place to camp free. People in the natura and villages are more hospitable than those in the cities. No need to be crazy in the wild. Wish you all the best. m.zeki avar |
m.zeki avar - sage words - I think that many people often forget the 'wild' part of 'wild camping'!!
many of us who love to camp 'wild/primitive' (and often have no choice but to) follow a few 'rules' when it comes to choosing a relatively 'safe' place to camp......there are a few facts about wild camping to remember.
just be aware of your surroundings. and if its your first few times at 'wild' camping use m.zeki avar's advice... "Better ask local people, police,or gendarme for a safe place to camp free. People in the natura and villages are more hospitable than those in the cities"... cheers! |
Thanks for the good tips, Lisa and m.zeki :thumbup1:
Have been on the road for a year thru LatAm and am now heading south from Cairo. Looking forward to some wild camping. |
Try having your tent completely surrounded by wild hippos when you're desperate for a piss !!!!!!!!!!!
