Insurance for South America
 

Hi

looking for a reasonable insurance for ALL south america countries...i have
bike with an US insurance/registration but i am originally from Germany with E2Visa working in the States...it seems my US insurance has no coverage for South America...please advise or send a link

I JUST CAME TROW SOUTH AMERICA AND DIDENT NEAD INSURANCE NO ONE WHIL ASK FOUR IT SO DONT BATHEAR GETING ONE SAVE THE MONEY FOUR FUEL AND SPEAR PARTS CENTRL AMERICA ONLY NEAD INSURANCE FOUR NICARAGUA HONDURAS BELICE AND MEXICO AND THOS ARE CHEAP TO GEAT AT THE BORDEAR ABOUT 100 US IN TOTAL FOUR ALL 4 COUNTRYS:Beach:

you can by a world insurance through e.g. Home, or write Nowag in germany nowag@t-online.de
Although not all countries are covered, Colombia for example is not and you will have to buy insurance at the border, which is another option for the other countries too altough sometimes it is not available at the border itself and you have to drive to the nearest bigger town.
We travelled through all SA countries again last year and this time have been asked quite a few times for insuranceproof in the Guayanas, Venezuela, Peru, Paraguay and Argentina.
