Anybody travelled recently Point Noire to Lambarene?

Friends of us are heading north from Point Noire to Lambarene. After recording some technical trouble we lost contact five days ago and wonder if somebody travelled this area recently and may have met Horst und Elisabeth or just heard any news.

got some news today. They are in Libreville. Anybody can recommend a workshop, spring black smith or scrap yard with the chance to get spares or fix Mercedes Sprinter rear springs?
