Bike storage in West Africa?
I'm looking for a place to leave my bike for a month or so in Senegal/Mali/Gambia/Guinea...??? starting at the end of August while I fly to the UK to take care of some business. Can anyone recommend a trustworthy place? Also, would any country be easier than another concerning customs and visa complications? I have a CPD for the bike, I am in Senegal now, and I plan to leave for Europe before my visa expires. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

In Mali, The sleeping Camel in Bamako is another option for top security. You need to go through a two doors system to get in. A lot of foreign police and military hanging around.
They are very friendly with overlanders. Just contact them first before getting there. Patrick |

You can also get your Moto serviced there (as I did) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Could look after a bike in CI but possibly too far for you!

Thanks for all the info, I think the sleeping camel may be my best option. CREER, thank you for the generous offer, but unfortunately, you are a bit too far away

Just remember Banjul is more accessible with cheap flights eg to London
