Buying a bike for Kenya in June. Import or buy local?
 

Moving to Kenya in June and looking to buy a motorbike. It would be criminal not to. But looking at some of websites online there seems to be quite a poor selection of 400-800cc non-Chinese bikes.
I am pretty flexible time-wise and would enjoy buying elsewhere and importing it to Kenya if that would make financial sense. Or is importation is more hassle than it's worth?

There's a guy on another post who's working in Kenya, and thinking of riding back to the UK ? Maybe he'd like to sell? Or has contacts? I think he's in a post further down the sub-Saharan section.
