Cabinda to Soyo Ferry???
 

Is there a ferry running from Cabinda to Soyo?

We are in Pointe-Noire now and need to get into Angola, DRC is no longer an option for us. We have a 7 day transit visa and can either ship from Pointe Noire or Cabinda to Soyo or Luanda. Our time is limited, last resort we will try get a crappy barge from Cabinda

I 've made ​​that about 15 days ago.
From Cabinda to Soyo, I have not found the ferry...there was only a pirog for bike at the fishing port but the police stopped people...only the bike :blush:

they talked of military aircraft ... but nothing to do.
So i crossed from Banana (RDC)...in Banana there are fast pirogues to soyo ( about 30 minutes trip). I hade for angola, a transit visa for 5 days...if you need informtion...

how did you guys get transit visa's for Angola? Where did you get them? I'm looking at a similar route Wanted has taken starting in a few months and a bit concerned about the Angola visa against riding from the DRC to Zambia as time is an issue for me
