Cameroon, Chad to Sudan
 

Hi. I've been playing with the idea of getting a flight to Cameroon (Air Maroc seem to be cheapest), buying a 125cc bike and driving East to Khartoum, Sudan, where I'd live for a few months.

Is it quite dangerous? I'm a hairy guy who doesn't like to shower and I don't have expensive possessions. I've been around a bit, and speak French. Previous trip on 125s in China and Iran.

Is it an interesting route? Jungle in the Cameroon, through the Sahel, and maybe some desert.

Roads I have read are survivable.

Any particular difficulties with paperwork?

Any input much appreciated to speed my research.
