Its a journey through mozambique, malawi, tanzania, kenya, ethiopia, sudan, CAR, cameroon, nigeria, banin, togo, ghana, sierra leone, liberia, guinea, guinea bissau, gambia, senegal, mauritania, western sahara, morocco, spain, france and ending in england. I can use and will be extatic to recieve any and all words of advice from what to take what to leave where i must go things that cant be missed people that can help in need on the way. Thanx guys your input would be Awesome!

It will be done on BMW F 650 GS bikes.

as far as i understand the east-west crossing you want to do is out-of-bounds. we're planning an overland trip in feb going up west coast. there seems to be no east to west crossing possible between Zambia and Egypt, unless you load your bikes on a barge up the congo river, which should be cool except if you get stuck on sand bank for months.

please post here if you find info that indicates otherwise. passing through north-western sudan to egypt is possible.

we really wanted to do Chad and Sudan but visas are a big problem.
