chain set cameroon
 

is there any body who knows where or how i can get a new or used chain set fore a yamaha xt tenere 34L in the north of cameroon or any where in cameroon. on the moment i,m in mora and on my way to the south but the weels dont have tooth any more just small wave,s if anny body knows a place or a way to get it in cameroon for a good price im all ears

All I can suggest is the garage/workshop area by the main market in Maroua. If they can't help, they should know a man who can.

Well we are now in Garoua and we found a nice shop, CAMI, Toyota and Yamaha dealer. On our way going to Garoua the kickstart of one of the bikes broke, so in the garage we ordered a new kickstart and a new chain wheel. They send it to Douala, sounds all pretty good. Unfortunatly the next day Anne broke her leg by slippping with the bike... So at the moment we cannot drive and we are less in a hurry with parts.

Shit! As they say in England, "It never rains but it pours!"

I hope she is better soon, Garoua is not the most exciting place to be stuck.

I will be back in Cameroon next month where I volunteer in the Far North (village near Rhumsiki). Cameroon is a great place with very friendly people. I hope you both enjoy it (apart from the broken leg!).
