Container space Germany to Durban
 

Hi,

looks like I have some container space to offer. I want to ship some bikes down from 36304 Alsfeld in Germany to Durban. You could ship your bikes with. The cost will be 500 Euro for a bike in a crate not bigger than 2m³. Bikes will be stored for you at my house in Port Shepstone and wait there for your arrival.

I also can assist to import your bike to South Africa an licence it here, so you need no carnet. With a south african logbook you make it at least to Tanzania without any problems.

Hi Thomas, what are the dates? Ride safe.

The container will be shipped +/- 15 October and should be in Durban middle of November and cleared by the 20th November. Thats the plans at the moment.

There is still space for 2 bikes !

Hi, what are the import duties & taxes in South Africa for a secondhand motorbike from germany?

Hi Uganduro,

14 % Vat and 7 % Duty for bikes up to 800 cm³ for bigger bikes up to 10 % duty.
