Country info in West Africa, mechanics, borders & roads!
 

Hi,

We just got back from our 4 months long trip in West Africa visiting, Morocco, Mauritania, Mali, Guinea, Senegal, Gambia and back again through Mauritania & Morocco.

As we had some problems finding the info about the road conditions, border crossing and especially reliable mechanics in these countries I have put all the info we gathered on our blog under "country info" at Country info | Not Just a Tourist

I hope it helps to make yor journey more pleasant. The typical problems would be the border officials, finding gas in Mauritania -sometimes and depending on your luck-, roads that only exist on the map but not in the reality and of course finding a mechanic. If you know of any complimentary info please let us know so that we can complete the info.
