Crossing the Central African Republic to OBO
 

Hello All

Leaving Ireland in about 3 weeks and heading down the West Coast of Africa, but looking at the possibilities of visiting OBO in the Central African Republic. After 2 months of reading blogs, most saying it's not possible, I have read a blog of a cyclist crossing in 2017. The World Food Program are using a route from Kampala(Uganda) to OBO to deliver food, so I either need to cross the CAR or figure the shortest route to cross West to East to Uganda.

Has Anyone travelled this area recently?

Or could link me to someone who has experience of travelling in the CAR, there is too much information on blogs etc, but mainly hearsay. So would really like to hear from people who have been there or with direct contacts there.
