Dogs into South Africa?
 

Hi all

Planning a trip from UK o South Africa via the east coast and then up the west in late 2011.

Has anyone any experience of bringing their dogs into south africa overland from the north?

Try Julius at Mennlyn Kennels and Catery in Pretoria. I used him when we brought our dogs into SA two years ago (but by air, not land). He and his team are a good group.

I'll drop them an email.

We don't want to permanently import the dogs - we are just traveling through.

If we can't bring them in we might have to do a right turn into Zambia and cut out SA all together

Any further experiences on this - please share
