Eastern DRTStorage in Kampala
 

Anybody know of reliable storage in Kampala for a motorcycle, maybe for up to three months along the lines of Chris at Jungle Junction in Nairobi?
Also anyone been through Eastern DRC recently and knows the current situation?

Suggest you try John, an Australian expat who runs Backpackers Hostel. About 3kms out of the centre at Mengo.

He has a small garage in the hostel and if you ask nicely, might be able to give you storage for a few months. My bike was there on an off for a few months.

Eastern DRC has some severe regional difficulties but they are very localized to the North of Goma. Goma is relatively safe as are the areas around Beni and Butembo and Bukavu. The south eastern sector of the Virunga National park should be avoided.
I can arrange secure storage and accommodation in GOMA. and give more detailed advice just ask!
