Ghana visa in Ouaga
hi all,
this is to let you know that during the last week (early January 2010), there have been problems to get your Ghanian visa in Ouaga (Burkina). It seems that the consul has decided to complicate the procedure. I got my visa after a week of waiting and it seems that more people have similar problems. Advice: if you can get it somewhere else, you will be better of. cheers! |
Thanks Blue!
I have little time left to get my visas and considered getting Ghana's exactly there! However, in SA there's an option to pay double and get it the same day - all above board, formally quoted on the phone. Embassy's in Pretoria - if anyone else from here wants to see our own continent before wandering off. Thanks again! Kobus |
Hi,
Thanks for the information. My wife and I will be heading off down the west coast of Africa in April. We will be going Morocco -> Mauri -> Senegal -> Mali -> Burkino Faso -> Ghana and were wondering where is the best place to get the visas we need for Ghana. I have phoned the consulate here (UK) and they say we need to get them here but they are only usable for 3 months after issue but, because we don't really have a timetable, they will probably have run out by then. Does anyone know whether you can get them in Bamako? Thanks Adrian |

Got my Ghana visa in Bamako in January.
12000 CFA and they say 48 hours, but you may have to wait longer. Add 10000 CFA and you will have it within a few hours, no receipt. |
