How many overlanders through Africa each year
 

Dear All, thinking of setting up an overlander business in Africa and was wondering if anybody knew how many people travel down the east and west coasts each year? Or where I can find this information.

Well, all the overlander places (bar Jungle Junction) that I have been too have been empty.

Although, there are problems with Sudan at the mo and you cant get an ethiopian visa coming north any more which is holding people back.

On my whole way down from the UK (east coast) , i've met less overlanders than I did in a week in South America.

East Africa is FULL of places to stay so it will be hard for you to set up there.

Maybe South Africa, Namibia could be an idea ??

What kind of overlander business did you have in mind?
