Johannesburg: Recommended Hostel?
 

HI, we´ll stay in JoBurg in Feb14 for 1-2 weeks to repair our bikes, then continue our trip to tansania :mchappy: ... maybe back to germany?
Can anyone recommend a good hostel in JoBurg? Is there any recommended Pub ... metting point ... to meet some other travellers bier ?

I almost never make recommendations , but would always go back to : Ghandi House in Joburg. For a 2 week stay , it's not a party place so look elseware if thats what you want, but has a small sleepy bar, pool table, and swiming pool, mix of travelers and some locals that stop in for a beer. Hans and Chris are great people . Location is good ! Walk , As well as good bus service .

i liked ghandi aswell...and 5 mins from there is a real good bbq placee in the town area...they have the grill outside...dirt cheap and tons of food
