Staying at Karen Camp, for overlanders. GREAT place, pub, restaurant, seems to be THE place for the local white Kenya safari crews to hang.

I'm staying out back on the grass in this amazing hut made out of a meat locker. ?c?

Yeah, but this place has restaurant, pub and cool lodging. ;-) Here's where I'm staying, was once generator housing from a Ford Transit Van for a bedroom, and then a small wooden living room added, complete with the windows from overland trucks. A Leyland DAF (a truck used by the British military) was the source for the wooden flooring.

Can't beat that!

Big Xmas party here tomorrow night, Christmas Eve, 5pm. Only just found out!

Funny saying I learnt tonight. Here's who settles in Kenya, the 3 M's - Missionaries, Mercenaries and Misfits. Certainly see a lot of the latter at Karen Camp!
