Leave Senegal after 72 hour "Passavant" expired
 

Does anyone have any knowledge about leaving Senegal after the 72 hour Passavant has expired - I want to stay for an additional 24 hours without having to go to Dakar? What would the penalty be?

When I left at Kenieba they didnt even look at the date. I had a breakdown (five of the six wheel bolts snapped on one wheel) so I was a day late.
The border with Mauretania and the northern border with Gambia is where they may give you problems.

After our accedent we tryed to get our Passavant extendet. This procedure took 3 days. We had to show lots of documents from the doctor proofing the reason why we stayed longer in Senegal then allowed: http://afrikamotorrad.eu/?report=senegal
