Leaving moto in Gabon for 6 months
 

Hi all: am heading into Cameroon tomorrow and may continue to Gabon if I can find somewhere there eg Libreville to leave the moto secure for 6 months whilst I return Europe.

I am travelling without carnet and the bike is 15 years old and worth less than 2,000 euros.

Any knowledge, advice, suggestions or contacts please.

Hi Simon,
you can leave you motorbike near Libreville at Akouango Village (Akouango Village).
You can ask for Federico (the italian owner)...it's a beautiful and safe place!

I couldn’t find a contact email on that link....do you have one for Federico (so I can ask what he charges) and do you know whether there are any Customs issues in Gabon in doing this without a carnet?
