Mauritania Visa at Morocco Border
 

I have heard that officials at this border, Mauritania from Western Sahara, are now providing 20 day visas at the border instead of the 3 day visa. Can anybody give a confirmation of this. The policy supposedly has only just gone into effect in the past couple of months.

We came through here just before the coup, 6 wks ago and had no trouble with a 30day visa , 60 euro,s to pay in Mauritania for 2 bikes and me an the wife, reasonable we thought but be prepared for lots, and I do mean lots of security checks once in Mauritania, Like 10 checks in 150km, it was that bad mate. Plenty of water and patiance needed We were so glad to hit Senegal we are currently in Sierra Leone, hope this helps
