Possible leave bike temporarily in Tanzania, Rwanda or Uganda?
 

Hello,
I’m on a trip from Cape Town up to what I’d hoped would be Cairo but now looking to be Nairobi.

I may need to pause at one point and attend some stuff back home and so was wondering if ...
It’s possible to leave one’s motorcycle either in Tanzania, Rwanda or Uganda and travel outside the country via Air, returning in about 2 weeks?

We left our truck in Tanzania on several occasions. Just make sure you’re back in time to get it over a border before any import paperwork (carnet, tip) expires

If Kenya is any good you could try contacting Chris at Jungle Junction about storage and paperwork, there were a couple of 4WDs left there when I passed through some years ago.

Sorry for the late response. Thank you Mark and Frenchian for the good info. Much appreciated. Just in time as well as I plan out my next month travels which include Tanzania.
