Reset carnet, entering Mozambique for an hour
 

Hi,

This is the plan, leave SA with old carnet (about to expire), then re-enter SA with new carnet.

Ideally, without even entering Moz.

Anyone done this recently, any feedback?

Am I right that you are looking to get a stamp in the new carnet to ship your vehicle back to europe? Our old carnet expired Dec 2017 while we were in UK and our Truck and balloon were parked in Joburg and returned in May with a new Carnet exiting RSA via Botswana and Zambia without a stamp in either carnet or getting a TIP.By the way you taught me to drive in Libyan sand in 2010.

Hi Chris, small world!

Took Phil and Allie ballooning in Iceland and Greenland last year!

It's to extend and keep the vehicle in Africa another few months or even a year or more - so we need to be completely compliant/legal.
