Sengal-Mali-Burkina-faso safety & things to know
 

Hi, I am planning a trip by car (2wd) from Gambia to Burkina Faso. I am leaving 8 of Februari, first stop will be around Tambacounda.

Is there anything that you should know? Is the road Bamako - Sikasso save? and is the route Sikasso - Bobo Dialosso good? Dutch government site warns for armed robberries on travellers also during daytime. However, I tend to think this news is somewhat exaggerated.

Any tips, directions for actual information? Thanks Bas
