Southern Africa/Uganda
 

I'm due to be in Uganda late January '18 with an Irish charity and I'm exploring the possibility of tying it in with a motorcycle or other overland trip Uganda and beyond. I don't have time to ride down from Iraland. Any thoughts, suggestions, offers. Would consider riding/driving up from south Africa or other countries south of Uganda if I could source/borrow/hire and bike or truck or hitch a lift.
I did Dublin to Capetown last year via the western route so keen to see a bit of the east.

There are quiet a few companies who rent out cars, but they often have to go back to the country where you rent them from.
There are some companies where you can pick them up one place and leave them in the next country, but I don't think you can pick one up in South Africa and leave it in Uganda...

We've travelled through Africa for 2 years by car and just finished our book with information that might be helpfull for a trip throug Africa by car, paperwork, campingspots, bordercrossings, mechanics,...
