sudan and ethiopia without carne de passage?
 

hei... we have been the last two years overlanding Africa, from Spain to South Africa on the west coast and now going north on the east. We didnt have carne de passage and we manage to do it!!! 26 countrys!
But now, that we are in kenya, I have the feeling that the problems are going to start!
Does anyone cross to Ethiopia, Sudan, UAE.. without Carne?

Ethiopia didnt use Carne. But you have to send your passport to your country to get visa for Ethiopia. You can not get visa at border or Nairobi. Sudan use Carne and also Egypt

When we went thu Sudan & Ethiopia (last year) they both wanted our Carnets, I am fairly sure you will not get thru either of these beautiful countries without one tho.:D

Customs was closed in ethiopian side, so we went inside the country without check out customs in Kenya, neither check in customs in Ethiopia.. we will see what happens at the exit border!.. and at sudanis border!
