Turkey - the long way
 

Thinking of going to Turkey via France,Italy, Tunisia ,Libya, Egypt,Jordan Syria etc.
Anybody tried this lately and have any advice about visas and problems etc.

Hi Graeme Willett and congratulations for the nice route. I can give you some info only for Turkey. If you take south coast of Turkey via Adana, Antalya(Olimpus- Hotel Kadir's Tree Hoses") - great place to visit. Near Izmir is Selchuk,that is a nice place because it is near Effes,Kushadasa, Artemida's Temple.The best "bikers-friendly" hotel is Akay (tel: (+90)2328923172 - ask there for Ethem - owner and buker)After Turkey if you are going back through Bulgaria just let me know.
