Tyres in Namibia?
Hey guys,
Am currently in Namibia and looking for two new Enduro front tyres (preference is Conti or michelin) Does anyone know where i can get these/have contacts? Windhoek seems like the place? Many thanks mike |
Look for the BMW motorbike workshop. If I remember correctly you leave the city centre eastwards on the Sam Nujoma Drive, over the hill and about a km further on take the Nelson Mandela Ave turning off left (northwards). After roughly 1 km (?) there's a fuel station on the right hand side with a bike shop.

just come across a shop in Grootfontein in north east Namibia where there is a bike place, next to the engen petrol station... we are getting two new michel duel prupose tyre (dont know type yet) tommorrow... thanks for the help mike |

got some sirac michelins form this great guy in grootfontein...you wont miss him...right next to the petrol station as you go in...
forget his name but he will help you with anything and everything overland/bike/car etc related...great help and real friendly... 5 eyes thanks for the heads up, all is great at the moment and we are in swakop and heading along back roads (d's and c's) down south to fish river and into s.a...if anything blows up (please no!) or goes wrong ill drop you a p.m cheers mate for the offer! mike |
cool, I'm mad jealous now , I'd like to be back hitting those roads rather than stuck up here in Dark wet Ireland :)
