I was a little worried about the mines, as there isn't really a discernable road to follow. I have no idea if they're still there, but better safe than sorry haha

We thought Mauritania was a pleasant surprise. I'm not sure I'll ever go back, but it wasn't the "hurry up and leave" kind of place I was expecting. The people were kind and the beach was beautiful. Plus, we found really good food, which always helps you like a place.
