Workshop/garage/fitment centre Durban area?
 

Hi

We're expecting our campervan to arrive in Durban in a few weeks and need to find a reliable garage/fitment centre there (or nearby) to do some modifications to it, beefing up suspension and so on.

Does anyone have any recommendations at all ? Garages, that is, although am open to suggestions for mods :)

I've emailed those I've found online, but recommendations based on past experience go a long way...

When are you arriving and what type of vehicle is it?

I will ask on the email list at overland.co.za for you - probably better off going up to Jo'burg, more choice, better service(?), but not the safest area in the world... ;-)

Port Shepstone 110 km south of Durban would be a good choice . Not so hectic as the big city. You have the Spot Backpackers – Umtentweni to stay and there are a lot of workshops around.

if you have leaf springs Izotsha springs in Marburg can make them stronger.
