1976 TS185 model A need carb
 

Hello Susuki Tech:

I have an 1976model A TS185 missing the carb.
The bike came with a VM26SS spigot mount.
I am wondering if a used 24mm from a KX65 or KTM65 would work on this application?
I can buy the following carbs new from
Mikuni dealers.

VM24-512
VM26-606

Both of these will probably have to be reworked, jets, possibly changing the throttle valve.

How would you guys go about solving my problem attacking it from money is no object to getting the bike running with a used ebay carb and what should I be looking for either way?
