Clutch replacement dl650
 

Just replaced clutch on wee springs gasket etc.....
On hindsight i think it waa just springs which needed swaping out as they were well out of spec. The wee is at 36k miles plates were pretty much in spec. Is this about right for spring life? It is much improved since doing it. :)

Not had to do any clutch repairs like that and each bike I had, 3, all racked up over 90,000km

I did have to replace drive plates due to being shredded. Nothing wrong with springs though

what are the conditions,2up,mountainous terrain,synthetic oil,stock gearing,total weight?

upto 24 K miles no idea. But since then yes to all of the above plus camping gear. 2 X 75KG people. I would have expected the plates to go before springs? But I don't know what went on up to 24K :(
