dr250 djebel air filter
 

hello hello.

my girlfriend is away in spain and the air filter on her suzuki dr250 djebel (1996) has dissintigrated so im trying to source a new one. no one here in the uk lists them so i wanted to know which, if any of the normal dr250 models use the same airbox/filter? the bike is new to us so were still working out whats what...

If the air filter's frame is OK, it can be possible to find a bigger filter from a car or light truck in an auto supplies shop, cut the paper off, and hot-glue it to the frame. It's often cheaper that way too.

I assume it's all sorted by now but for future issues, obtain the part number then google ebay as a lot of the DR models used the same parts. You'll need the frame number to be certain of the correct model :)

the problem is that this is a japanese import, so all the aftermaket part people dont have a clue what im talking about. ive managed to find a genuine one (at a price), but basicaly i thought someone who had one of these bikes would be able to confirm any parts that were interchangable with the standard dr250. and as most companies use 'stock' photos on there websites, its hard to see pictures of stuff to see if it is the same thing.
