No luck finding info on how to lower Dr650 myself
I've spent quite some time looking through threads trying to find
enough info to help me lower my wife's 2009 Dr 650 on my own. I would appriciate any assistance in locating this info. So far I've scand the Horizon's Unlimited DR 650 threads and Adventure Rider but could not find enough detail. Thanks for any help. Freedom Rider |
Have you tried this method .. http://koubalink.com ? I put these on my KTM 640 Adventure and lowered the seat height by about inch & half. You will also need to adjust the fork rake to lower the front end as well but they certaily make a difference and very easy to fit.

Not a Problem !!
Thanks StrimStrum
Actually the Dr 650 has an adjustable shock too loweer it all you have to do is change the baolt position and drop the forks, but I have never seen or done it myslef and I did'nt know if there were a few tricks to it or not. Any how this Morning I went to my shop and gave it a try and what do you know one hour or so later I'm done without a hitch. Actually its all just common sence release the pressure on the spring and change the bolt position and drop the front forks. Thanks for the reply. Freedom Rider |
