Why so few posts?
Dear suzuki riders
I was wandering why there are only 30 posts here in the suzuki technical forum? is it because there are so few suzuki doing long trips or because they are so bad that few buy them or are they just so good that no one has any problems. Tell me what is going on. I will get mine second DR650 next august, and plan to equip it for five months trip in Europe and Africa. Any suggestions on stuff to fitt on my bike. Jakob |
I'm currently getting my 01 DR650 setup for a 6 month trip to Central and South America. You can see what I've done to it on my website:
http://www.twowheelsgood.net . There is also a DR650 yahoo based mailing list which you might want to check out for general information. The DRs are definitely a tine percentage of the adventure touring bikes but if you look at the June ezine here on HU you'll see that two women are using them to tour in Pakistan and India. Hugh |
Have fun Hugh, and please let us know how the trip goes.

When I first discovered the sire I noticed the Suzuki and the other japanese brand forums were not very wel travelled. ekaphoto and I livenewd it up for a while then I took a hiatus. Its winter now so my interesets have returned to internet things.
I ride a DRZ (out of several bikes I have) and love it. So hopefully we can liven the Suzuki site up again. But as mentioned before. For a lot of straight technical info thumpertalk.com has a huge library of postings already. Thanks, Todd BEllew |
