Mitas E07
I used a set of Mitas E07.
Mix of gravel/dirt and tarmac. More tarmac than dirt. I used them for 8 000 km. I replaced them, since I will do more gravel/dirt. If I should "Ride home" on tarmac. I could have done 2 000 km more. For legal street use. The front more, but I changed both at the same time. Mitas E 07 are "50/50" similar to TKC 70 = When I replaced them, I continued with E 07 rear but put a E 09 front. (E 09 is more like the TKC 80) That I continued with Mitas shows that Ilike them. "budget" tires to a lower cost. Probable not the "best", but good enough. |
If you like TKC80 pair it up with rear Mitas E-07 preferably Dakar and non-plus. I have used this combo and it will go 8000mi front and rear will last 10-12k miles but dirt grip will start dropping off at ~9k.
Anakee Wild front will last ~20-25% more than TKC80 and MotoZ Tractionator ADV is another long lasting front but they are not easy to get in EU. Shinko 804 is cheaper alternative to TKC80. It is similar to TKC80 and lasts as much. |
