I'm new to HU so greetings to all.I live near Oxford.
Can anyone help with a problem I now have have following fitting a new clutch friction plate and diaphragm to my 1982 R100RS? Maybe one for Steve Pickard! The problem is that the clutch actuator arm how just moves in without any resistance; in other words absolutely no clutch! It was operating prior to my "interference". I have taken the gearbox and clutch out two E but still no results and nothing g left over! It seems that the pushrod is passing through the hole in the centre of the diaphragm. Thanks to anyone who can help PS. I should have said that my name is Karl. PPS. Just tried again; set arm at 8" using the adjuster at the handlebar lever, screwed the adjuster on gearbox arm right in but no clutch! |
