Why does my exhaust 'ping' when hot?
 

Hi all,

Just a question, why does my exhaust make a pinging/clicking sound after a ride? Is it the metal contracting or something else?

Multiple alloys in the exhaust system, they expand and contract at different rates and get a bit noisy doing it.
