Last week I asked a question on twitter asking people what their favourite travel books were - I was stunned at the response - such a wide range of books.... so that inspired me to create the first Inspirational Travel Literature awards.

Nominations are now open over at 2012 Inspirational Travel Literature Nominations | The London Biker and will be open for 10 days. After that they'll open for public voting and we'll get the top 10 most inspirational travel books for 2012.

If you nominate a book you'll be entered into a prize draw to win either a £30 Traveldri Plus voucher and a £15 Lonely Planet book.
