Are the Horizons Communities still a thing?
 

Not sure if this is where to post, but I was curious if the Horizons Unlimited Community initiative was still going.

I only resurfaced on here about 3 weeks ago after a loooong break with life having made all things travel and all things bike a low priority, unfortunately.

Anyway, back when I was more active on here, there was the HU Communities initiative where people could register as a contact in a given country for people passing through their region.

Is it still about?

absolutely, and they've been helping travellers through the pandemic, with places to park etc.

A browse of the drop down menu at the top will find the Communities under Connect. There's 830 of them now in 116 countries! A couple of the largest are London and Melbourne, both well over 100 people.

EVERYONE should join their local Community, to connect with other like minded people, and to support people passing through their area.
