Nice beer wot I remember trying.
-hic!-
Antarctica and Brahma, Brazil Hinano, Tahiti St George, Ethiopia A nice touch in some Kenyan places is being asked, "Warm or cold?" when ordering a Tusker. A hangover from Brit colonial times, and is proof positive there was a time when we liked warm beer. (I don't much like cold Guinness, warm's much better). Taybeh, Palestine (from a small Christian town, but export version is from Belgium). Available in London once but I can't find it now. Two more dark beers from Mexico - Potro (like English stout) and Caballero Aguila (porter). I think they may put mole con chocolate in them like a lot of their cooking. and this one from Bulgaria that I don't know how to write on this keyboard. http://i1263.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8b081d2e.jpg Back in UK: Discovery ale, Dundee (Not the Fullers of the same name). Fickleshole ale, Fickleshole (But from Reigate) London Pride BSA and TEA from Hogs Back Brewery Shere Drop, Shere. Mean Time, a dark London Stout, and the classic Worthington White Shield .....Brilliant thread! |

Research is still ongoing but so far above and beyond all others are any of the beers from Cerna Hora in the Czech Republic. Presently doing extensive testing in the north of South America but early indications point to Cerna Hora maintaining its lead.
So many beers, so little time, still, mustn't grumble. Is this sort of scientific research for the good of mankind tax deductible? |
