Camping in Paris.
Evening everyone.
I'm going to France for a few days next month and I was wondering if anybody here could recommend a campsite as close as possible to central Paris or maybe even a cheap B and B or hostel etc? I've been on 4 bike trips around France in the last few years but I've never been to Paris, so I'm looking forward to this trip. I hope someone can point me in the right direction Thanks. |

Great camp sit at Boulogne but if you want to stay in downtown Paris you can rent a studio for 60 euro per night for a week stay . if driving your bike in Paris don't forget to lock it safe :( I worked in Paris so .....

It took me a good ten min's to find out the price. Turn's out to be 30 euro's a night tent and bike. I can get an F1 hotel for that price.
So it's take your pick. John933 |

Renovated last year, very friendly and helpful staff, and a 15-min bus shuttle. And yes, expensive. But I prefer camping with my Defender to any hotelroom any time :Beach: Bon voyage!, Gee |
Thanks for the info folks.
Yeah £30 per night is expensive for a campsite but i dont really have much choice if i want to camp inside the city limits. Thanks again! |
just a little word of caution in your ear :
Some areas of the Bois de Boulogne are notorious for all the wrong reasons aka crime, drugs, prostitution and the like- Keep your wits about you. |
