Going East (Vias's) Help Wanted
 

Hello All, we are planning a trip from the UK in June 2015 crossing the Caspian sea > Kazakhstan > Russia > Mongolia > Russia > back through the Stans probably Kyrgyzstan > Tajikistan > then either Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan.
Is it possible to obtain the Visa for the Stans in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia?? We will be traveling with UK passports. We will secure Visa’s for Russia and Kazakhstan before leaving the UK.
Any information about any Visa’s or the Stans will be greatly appreciated.

Not much help I know, but I'm planning to cross the Caspian Baku to aktau in 2nd week of July.. I'll sort out Azerbaijan. Kaz and Russian visa's before I leave..

I'm heading on from Russia to Korea, but I would imagine getting visa's for the stans shouldn't be too difficult.. Just a case of allowing yourself time to sort themout at the embasy.
