Grrr - Weather :(
Sat here at home when I should be half way through Mod 2 - got a call just before leaving the house this morning to say all tests in Scarborough were cancelled today because of the weather.
Kinda releived in a way but also gutted as had got my head all sorted for it . Feel bad for all the guys trying to get A2 in before the 19th as that could scupper them a fair bit. Glad I'm doing DAS as just means I'll be doing mod 2 on an SV 650 instead of the GS 500 I would have been on today. |
Good luck with your test! Although you might have to wait a few more days as the weather is pretty bad over the east coast and looks set to get worse. I done my test in York a couple of years ago, Mod 2 was definately easier than Mod 1 for me, but I guess it depends on the route they take you on.

Cheers :thumbup1:
Yep, could be a while yet as there's still a fair bit of snow on the ground here and we're due more tonight. Definitely feel better about Mod 2 than Mod 1. Scarborough's a little bit closer to us than York but I know Scarborough better too so hopefully it should all go OK when it happens bier |
Finally managed to get one today and Passed beer
Need to put the little DR back together and get it down the road and go shopping for it's replacement :D |

Testing always seems so much simpler here in the US: you take a quick test in a parking lot somewhere, never achieving any sort of speed or interacting with, for example, actual roads or traffic. Following ten or fifteen minutes of messing around, they grant you a license endorsement which allows riding any size or shape motorcycle at any speed under all conditions....forever.
Of course, the price we pay for all this simplicity is that none of us really know much about riding bikes. Oh, that and the fact that all the car and truck drivers are similarly ignorant, but hey, it's America. Enjoy your new life! Mark |
Cheers guys bier
