Help Needed: Spain
 

Please forgive repost. Not sure right place to drop this.

Dear All. Please help if you can. The unthinkable has happened. We have just had a massive off having been caught out by high wind on our way back from Morocco. We are 1 hr north of Seville. We are shaken, ok and out of hospital and talking with insurance but facing a potential nightmare with the bike as it is only worth circa 2.5-3k being an 09 1000cc Vstrom and may be written off instead of repatriated.

I would be devastated if this happens as the bike was well protected by crash bars and panniers and is a cheap and easy fix. I cant bear the thought of losing a well loved and maintained machine.

Does anyone have experience or contacts with independant repatriation services and if so please can you message me with reccomendations or contact details?

I am based in Granada for the next few weeks, -!: after that likely Córdoba or Seville for a month. Is there anything I can do?

Is the bike rideable? Where do you need it taking to? You may find someone willing to ride it back for you.
