Good to hear some good news these days; hopefully the NHS have done a "good job".
But I don't suppose the DVLA are meeting, or exceeding, their business mission statement.
I recently had a letter from another branch of our government; another one of the many agencies that operate on behalf of government - another one of those that government ministers can hide behind and castigate them for inefficiencies etc etc.
The gist of the letter was that they may be able to deal with my query in a period of 4 months - I feel sure that the whole point of this letter was to be able to report via the official government channels that my query had been actioned within the time period stated within their mission statement (if I really stretched my memory I think they had said that a reply could be expected within 30 days of submitting the proforma). |
