Malaria Vaccine
http://theguardian.com/world/2021/ap...ina-faso-trial
Looks like the guys over at Oxford have been busy. Not only did they develop a covid vaccine, it seems like they have gotten some great results for a malaria vaccine! What are your thoughts, would you take it when it's available? Seems like a no brainer to me, since malaria is the most deadly disease in many countries... |
I really do hope this one is the game changer. There's been so many false dawns with malaria vaccines and treatments over the years, where something starts off working well but mutations and other changes eat away at its efficacy over time. For the sake of the people living in these areas let this one work and be cheap enough to distribute.

Thats great news and I really hope that this malaria vaccine development could end in a effective vaccine that could be distributed to the places that have malaria problems. And for people that travels to such places.
And yes of course I would take the jab if I was going to malaria struck places. |
I'd take it - but I wouldn't be among the first.
Too bad that the people who are most exposed may never afford it or have it afforded to them. |
